We are a small friendly group who meet once a month to try and keep the churchyard and the Memorial Garden looking as spic and span as I am sure everyone would wish. We do those gardening type tasks that contractors maybe do not have time to do within their contacted hours and of course this additionally saves money for the Church.
As always, we are always looking for volunteers to come and help us, we usually meet on a Monday morning at 10am and after a coffee break at Hug in a Mug aim to finish by 12.30pm. The tasks are not too onerous and usually consist of a bit of weeding, maybe cutting back bushes that have grown over several graves, trimming other stand-alone bushes in the churchyard but nothing so far, that has defeated us!
