Pauline and I would like to thank everyone for the many lovely cards, flowers and letters of condolence which we have received since Tricia's untimely death on December 19th.  As many will know, she was suffering from MND, a devastating illness which she bore with great courage and dignity but her passing, when it came, was sudden and unexpected leaving us all very shocked.

Maurice, Tricia, Pauline and I began worshipping at St. Cosmas and St. Damian when we moved to Sussex in 1962.  Before long, we all found ourselves not only singing in the choir but also ringing the beels!  Tricia was later confirmed there and, in 1971, married Chris, also a chorister and bell ringer!  Their first baby, Andrew was christenend at Keymer before they moved to live in Cranleigh shortly afterwards.

In no time, Tricia had joined the choir of St Nicolas, Cranleigh where she became a hugely valued and loyal chorister.  Although her voice was losing its strength as her illness progressed, she was still able to enjoy singing with them until two weeks before she died.

The support that we have received from Fr Tom and our many friends at Keymer Church, including those who travelled to Cranleigh for Tricia's funderal, has beena  source of great strengh and comfort.  We feel truly blessed.
